Colson is a designer and manufacturer of casters and wheels that have defined the industry since 1885.
As the market leader in casters, Colson offers a wide variety of products for the medical, industrial, and heavy-duty markets
Ameridan’s Role:
Ameridan was engaged by a leading private equity group to conduct a Voice of the Customer diligence study.
The project involved interviewing senior-level decision-makers at many of the Company’s top OEM and distributor customers. The goal was to gain a deeper understanding of the factors that customers valued most when making purchasing decisions and how the Company was performing or positioned relative to these factors, such as product quality, customer service, product availability, and pricing.
A year after our initial engagement, Ameridan was invited back to conduct customer diligence regarding a potential acquisition of Waxman Consumer Products’ floor care line. Colson was looking for customer feedback regarding perceptions of the Waxman division relative to the competition, product quality, service levels, it’s near term business outlook, and other issues.
The transaction closed in May, 2022
