With over $3.3 billion in annual sales, LSC Communications is one of the largest US-based providers of commercial printing services. The company is a leader in book production, magazines, and office products.
In early 2020, LSC entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy and subsequently solicited bids for its assets.
Ameridan’s Role:
Ameridan was engaged by a leading US-based private equity firm to provide market diligence services. The scope of our work included a comprehensive assessment of the company’s three business segments including market size, growth, and competitive landscape. It also included assessments of the company’s value proposition, demand drivers, the medium-term outlook for commercial printing demand, and the effects of digitization in a post-COVID environment.
As part of its market diligence process, Ameridan conducted over 100 structured, in-depth interviews with former company executives, competitors, publishers, ed-tech providers, and major school districts across the U.S.
