Leadership

Carl Falcon is a senior consultant with Ameridan Diligence LLC. He has over a decade of experience in business planning, strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate venture investing and strategic marketing for technology firms. His background in technology and business provides a unique perspective on the many growth challenges facing firms in an ever-changing tech-oriented economy.

Prior to Ameridan, Carl led the M&A effort as VP Corporate Development at Standard Microsystems Corp., a NASDAQ-listed semiconductor company based on Long Island NY. He managed all aspects of the corporate development function, from the prioritization of strategic growth options and target pipeline development through due diligence, valuation, negotiation and post-merger integration.

During his tenure, Standard Microsystems acquired or invested in several technology firms which enabled the company to enter new markets, add new products, capture new customers, and expand its intellectual property and human capital.

Prior to joining Standard Microsystems, Carl led the corporate strategy and M&A efforts for AMI Semiconductor as well as the post-merger integration activities for ON Semiconductor. During his time at AMI, the company acquired and integrated four technology firms to build a new and profitable business unit focused on the medical device market. His responsibilities included all areas of corporate strategic planning and M&A transaction execution, including investment thesis, business and financial planning, and management of cross-functional matrix teams through complex due-diligence and integration efforts.

Early in his career, Carl was fortunate to cofound Focus Semiconductor with several colleagues where he learned firsthand the special demands required of an entrepreneur.

Carl holds an MBA from the Haub School of Business at St. Joseph’s University as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.
