Oliveira SA is a manufacturer of steel wire and synthetic ropes headquartered in Maia, Portugal. The company offers a full line of wire ropes including elevator ropes, cranes ropes, and fishing ropes. The company is also one of the few companies with the capability of producing large diameter synthetic mooring ropes used in the offshore oil industry.

• An assessment of Oliveira’s competitive position in key product segments; and
• Market views of the company’s overall product quality and capability.
