Manufacturer of steel storage tanks and standpipes
Situation:
T Bailey is a manufacturer of large-scale, above-ground storage tanks, steel casing products, and other fabricated steel products to the potable water, wastewater, marine, transportation infrastructure, and energy markets.
A private equity firm that was considering a potential investment reached out to Ameridan to assist with its due-diligence efforts.
Ameridan’s Role:
The diligence services project was focused on obtaining direct customer feedback regarding perceptions of the Company relative to the competition, recent Company performance, the near-term business outlook, and other relevant issues.
In addition, the scope included providing high-level market information and insights related to:
- Overall demand for field-erected water tanks (primarily in the US Pacific Northwest), with a focus on recent trends and growth drivers, including governmental funding levels (federal, state & local), population trends in the US Pacific Northwest, and other issues;
- The competitive structure of T Bailey’s regional market and recent competitive developments which could impact the Company’s medium-term revenue stream/margins;
- Regional demand for related services, maintenance services, and other potential growth opportunities; and
- The medium-term regional demand outlook, as well as other market issues which could impact demand for the Company’s products and services.
The transaction closed in December 2024.
