Situation:
Waxman was a leader in the design, development, and distribution of innovative surface protection and floor care products and other home improvement and hardware products. The Floorcare division sold to a diverse mix of customers under both its own branded product lines and private label products.
Ameridan’s Role:
As part of its due-diligence efforts, Ameridan was engaged by a potential buyer to obtain customer feedback regarding perceptions of Waxman relative to the competition, product quality, service levels, the near term business outlook, and other issues.
Ameridan interviewed customers representing most of the Floorcare division revenues and received feedback on supplier relationships, vendor selection processes, competitors, market opportunities and other important diligence criteria.
The transaction closed in May 2022.
