Drumet, headquartered in Włocławek, Poland is a major European manufacturer of general purpose ropes, special crane ropes, combination ropes (polypropylene wire ropes), slings, steel wire, and steel wire bands. Its products are used in numerous applications including elevators, ski lifts, mining cars, and cranes.

Ameridan’s Role:

Ameridan was engaged post-acquisition to conduct a market study of the European market for steel wire and general purpose wire rope. The main thrust of the project involved sizing these markets, gaining an understanding of purchasing behaviors, and assessing Drumet’s competitive market position. The purpose of the research was to provide market knowledge and insights to assist in the formulation of the acquirer’s European go-to-market strategy.
