Situation:
Ed Fagan (EFI) specializes in providing controlled expansion alloys, soft magnetic alloys, refractory and electronic metals. EFI has been a leading supplier of soft magnetic alloys in bar, rod, sheet and coil. Easily magnetized and demagnetized, they are uniquely suited for specialized applications that require high permeability, low losses and low residual magnetism.
Ameridan’s Role:
As part of a due-diligence effort, Ameridan was tasked to obtain unbiased customer feedback regarding perceptions of the Company relative to the competition, the near term business outlook, and other issues.
To obtain this feedback, Ameridan conducted in-depth interviews with the top customers, and solicited their opinions on numerous issues such as the supplier relationship, competitive advantages, and vendor selection processes.
The transaction closed in June 2023.
